Gloominous Doom video ‘Death Roll’ finished and pending release.
After some long nights Andrew Moyer and I finished editing the Gloominous Dooms music video ‘Death Roll’ that has been in the works the past 2 months.
The song Death Roll is about the alligator’s infamous rolling action to drown it’s captive prey.
The concept for the video was to have a “cheesy /corny” alligator mask wearing, band member attempting skate board tricks while thrashing and tackling other skater kids. There is even a break for the “gator” to get some ice cream. Also included are fan cameos and live band performance to round out the final video.
Being friends with the band and, Andy with his talent in tech. support in editing, made the process a ton easier to complete. Gloominous Doom as a band was well rehearsed for the live footage. The skate scenes and gator footage were well planned and recorded adding to the ease of the project. It was fun working on Death Roll.
The resulting efforts on Death Roll is a humorous perspective on a violent subject that will have you replaying the video time and time again.
This project was my first attempt at directing, filming, and editing something this important. Over all I say I had terrific results!
I did the video free of charge. I did ask for a few favors including free show pass’. Knowledge is way more valuable then money. I will however charge a fair rate for other bands if they ask for my assistance in like projects.
Gloominous Doom is releasing they’re debut album ,titled, Doomed if you do. Doomed if you don’t, with DRP Records. The Death Roll video is the first off this album.
The video release date has yet to be announced but it is on it’s way.

Site updates
Well folks as you know its harder to start something then it is to quit. I motivated to work on the site and edit the “about” page a bit and began to dig up old photos of artworks to display with that section.
I’ll also be uploading more images of artworks and categorizing them as well. This site is a bit shabby and needs grooming.

Death Roll
The band Gloominous Doom is the process of creating a music video for they’re song Death Roll off the debut album set to release this fall.
The song Death Roll is about alligator attacks and the video is going to be wild! So far we have collected a ton of excellent footage including “swamp sightings” and “skate park havoc” and some “mosh pit madness”.
We also have cameos by live alligators and ice cream men.
I was asked by the Gloom Doom to direct, help film, and assist in the editing of this video. Also involved in the project is the band Gloominous Doom, Andy Moyer, and a fist full of fans and friends.
It is our goal to have this project finished and ready for you, the fans, by early November.
